Gabriella Montez: Do you remember in kindergarten, how you'd meet a kid, and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you'd be playing like you were best friends, because you didn't have to be anyone but yourself?
Too bad we can't be kids forever.
I guess one of the most difficult things we have to deal with as we grow older is the fact that there are different personalities and a wide range of experiences, values, ideals and attitudes that we won't understand. Most of these new personalities, you'll understand. But the challenge is to keep your ground (Be yourself if being yourself is a good thing. Otherwise, it's just being stubborn.) but still know how to constructively and harmoniously correlate with the person (or persons if you're situation's that sad) you just can't fathom at all.
Diversity and change are sure in this world. You have to learn to live with it or you'll be drained trying to fight it.
It's difficult but rewarding. Jesus said kasi yesterday, "If you love only the people who love you, why should you receive a blessing? Even sinners do that. ... No! Love your enemies and do good to them; lend and expect nothing back. You will then have a great reward, and you will be sons of the Most High God."
Oh. Most importantly, pray that that person or those people don't make it any more difficult than it already is. :D
