Char and I were DGL’s to Arrie, Chelsea, Carrie, Marga, Axil, Vanessa and Stef. I love you guys! Pati na rin kina Lou, Bianca, Car, Caren, Nico (yes. Rogelio yan. May taga-pisay nag-attend. Haha.), Ench, JJ, Yanna, Kyla, Jerome, Nick, Francis, Gabbie, Maica, Renee, Elle, Kim, Jake, Miguel & Ai. Kita kita sa Saturday. Uulitin ko ang sinasabi ko sa blog entries after every camp. Welcome to our new brothers and sisters in YFC! I’m looking forward to working with you in service of God and neighbor.
And of course, as part of the service team, madami din akong natutunan. Gagayahin ko ang pag-enumerate ni shayne of the things she learned dun sa camp na meron sila. :)
1. God’s love is always overwhelming. We just have to take time to notice it. And with His love, we wouldn’t need anything else.
2. From listening to talk 3, I learned that we also have to forgive ourselves. Pinatawad na tayo ni God kaya hindi na dapat natin idiin sa sarili natin yung mga mali. Our God is a merciful God and with each time He forgives us, we should also forgive ourselves and change our ways instead of dwelling on the past. Kung si God kaya tayong patawarin, dapat kaya din nating patawarin ang sarili natin.
3. In serving, it’s not only the receiver who benefits because service also brings about growth. Sinabi to nila miggy and david nung faci training.
4. Love the participants with God’s love. That way hindi ka mauubusan ng love because kung love lang natin yung gagamitin, it wouldn’t be enough. Humans have the tendency to choose whom to love and hold back in giving pero ang love ni God unconditional and totally selfless. Kay Kuya Mike naman galing to.
5. Though it’s important to know the “logistics” or specific roles as service team, hindi dapat mawala ang passion to serve because it’s the earnest desire to be used as God’s instrument that will help one get the work done well. From Kuya PJ this time.

I learned so much and I realized yun yung mga sinabi sa amin nung nagfaci training kami. Marami diyan alam ko na pero everytime na I am given the chance to serve, narereinforce pa lalo. Ang galing talaga ni God!
